Books Lists & Reviews

  • A Book and a Hug has lists of children's books and is searchable by category, keyword and reading level. It also has a "books for girls" section and a "books for boys" section where recommendations are made according to personality type. For example, girls can decide whether they are a Joan of Arc Empath or an Annie Oakley Wild Thing.

  • Looking for a list of books about another culture or set in another part of the world? Old Dominion University's school of education has posted a multicultural bibliography on their website.

  • Author James Patternson has created a website called ReadKiddoRead that has booklists grouped by age. Reviews of and cover art from each book are included.
